Hello everyone! As anyone who has become a follower of this blog or Facebook or even Instagram may already be aware of, I took a week vacation away from all yarn-y types of things last week to finish up a swap package on lettuce craft. I am by habit, and by a fault, a habitual procrastinator. To make matters worse, I was thinking that the swap requirements were two fewer small items than the actual requirements ... so this means that I had a lot of crafting to do in a short amount of time. Fortunately though, I prevailed thanks to a wonderful swap partner who had a multitude of interest in several different areas. This allowed me to try new things which I will hopefully be able to share at the beginning of December.
Due to the week off last week, I did not have anything to show for this blog that I worked on within the past week. So I thought that I would take a few photos of some upcoming projects that I look forward to completing this week.
The first project that I'd like to complete are four ponytail beanies for a commission. I make these just about every winter, usually for gifts for Christmas or for family. Are a joy to work up and I shared my methods in a previous blog from last week if anyone is interested.
Next up will be finishing some patching projects on this granny square afghan. This belong to a family member who has since passed away. My mother inherited this afghan and I seek to repair it so that she may enjoy it. I also received quite a bit of the vintage yarn, so I will be able to do if not an exact color match, a pretty damn near close one.
And lastly, there is much yarn to add to the Etsy shop. I've slept a little bit and getting new content on Etsy. It is not intentional or my procrastinator mentality. Things have actually been rather busy with my primary career and there hasn't been much time to set aside for finishing up the listings. I have taken today off and Friday and hopes that I can dedicate a little bit more time this week to getting some new listings up.
Stay tuned to next week to see how well I do at completing my project list for this week. If you stumble upon this blog feel free to leave a comment or say hello. I enjoy blogging but I'd really like to hear from some people and what they are working on. Stay safe and happy crafting!
